Why people love it

Beachcombing, storm watching, Finders Keepers floats, and more variety than most coast towns.

Local history and character

Lincoln City was created in 1965 by combining several communities, whose individual identities still show in its districts. Long before that, the Siletz people lived throughout the region and remain a vital part of the central coast.

Lincoln City rewards exploring beyond Highway 101. Its former communities still give different sections of town their own flavor, while Devils Lake, Siletz Bay, glass studios, and seven miles of sand make it easy to change plans with the weather.
